SØSTR

The Danish duo SØSTR, consisting of Sharin Foo (The Raveonettes) and her sister Louise Foo (Gianni Factory).

The sisters have followed separate paths and careers – Sharin as part of The Raveonettes and Louise with one foot in the art world and the other as one third of the band Giana Factory. While their music holds a sense of something ancient, organic, textural and visceral, the sisters have a shared interest in new technologies. They work with spatial sound setups in a live setting, make immersive installations, collaborate with 3D visual artists and are also conducting artistic research. SØSTR sounds like something new that has always been around.
