Michael Levie

Michael Levie has spent more than three decades working across the global hospitality industry, with experience spanning hotel operations, technology, brand development, and business transformation. After graduating from the Essec MBA in Hospitality Management (IMHI Cornell / Essec), he held leadership roles with international hotel groups including Sonesta International Hotels Corporation and NH Hoteles, where he oversaw large hotel portfolios as Vice-President of Operations.

He later joined SynXis, helping establish and lead the company’s European operations during a period of significant growth in hospitality technology. Michael is also a founding partner of citizenM, where he was responsible for the hotel side of the business and helped shape the operational model behind one of the most influential hospitality brands of the past two decades.

Today, Michael advises organizations on business transformation, operational development, and brand strategy, helping companies adapt to changing customer expectations and market dynamics.
