Joern Siebke
Founder & Principal, Studio Lux Berlin
Joern Siebke is the founder and principal of award-winning interior and lighting design practice ‘Studio Lux Berlin’, specializing in environments and spaces for hospitality.
With degrees in Landscape Architecture from Technical University Berlin and Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, NYC, Joern started his career in hospitality design with renowned studio Tony Chi and Associates in New York in 2002. Using his diverse experience Joern shaped landmark projects for high-end luxury brands Mandarin Oriental, Park Hyatt, Rosewood etc cross Asia, the Americas and Europe.
After more than a decade of collaborating with hospitality industry luminaries like chefs Wolfgang Puck, Michael Mina and others working alongside his wife Adina Muncan-Siebke at Tony Chi and Associates the couple relocated to Berlin and set up award winning Studio Lux Berlin in 2011.
Drawing on the partners’ diverse backgrounds and extensive international project experience across more than two decades, Studio Lux Berlin has developed a reputation for its strategic, holistic and
impactful approach and has created signature projects for major international operators like EMAAR, Hilton, Hyatt, Kerzner, Marriott and Rosewood as well as private owners/operators.
Joern is a frequent speaker on hospitality design and the impact of lighting.
